About the Role
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will sell technical products in various sectors and explain all technical aspects of a product simply and provide post-sales support. You will also attend exhibitions, meet with clients, and liaise with production engineers as well as make product improvement recommendations.
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a similar field.
Experience in sales would.
Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities.
Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
A valid driver’s license.
Memorizing technical product specifications.
Keeping up-to-date with new company products and industry trends.
Attending conferences, lectures, seminars, and workshops.
Conducting market research and obtaining feedback from clients.
Writing reports and liaising with the production team regarding issues, possible problems, and effective solutions.
Simplifying technical terms during product demonstrations and post-sales customer support.
Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients.
Meeting with new clients in order to expand sales territories.
Updating orders and sales and negotiating contract terms.
Listening to customers’ needs and advising them.
