Product Specialist

About the Role

As a Product Specialist, you will work with a team to ensure excellent product delivery. You must also have a wealth of knowledge about a product or range and also analyze market trends, develop sales, price and profitability strategies, recommend improvements, identify opportunities, and increase revenue. You should also have strong customer service and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or similar.

  • Experience in retail, sales, or customer service.

  • An ability to memorize key details.

  • Able to perform demonstrations that engage and inspire.

  • Deadline-driven and a willingness to work after hours.

  • Superb verbal and written communication skills

  • Great telephone etiquette.

  • A strong growth mindset.

Responsibilities

Conducting thorough market research.
Taking surveys, doing desktop research, sending emails, making calls, and attending product launches of rival companies.
Answering all product-related questions.
Strategizing with business and engineering teams.
Attending workshops relating to sales and marketing.
Assisting with new product releases/events.
Performing product demonstrations for customers, staff, and stakeholders.
Assisting with the development of business plans.
Scheduling training sessions and attending meetings.
Identifying new market opportunities and relaying this information to the manager/stakeholders.
Making product recommendations to increase revenue.
