Company Policy
Everyone in our company should be hired, recognized, and/or promoted because of their skills, character, and work ethic. We would not like to see any forms of nepotism so we will place restrictions on hiring employees’ relatives.
A relative is someone who is related by blood or marriage within the third degree to an employee which includes parents, grandparents, in-laws, spouses, domestic partners, children, grandchildren, siblings, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, step-parents, step-children, and adopted children.
You must not be involved in a supervisory/reporting relationship with a relative, you can’t be transferred, promoted, or hired inside a reporting relationship with a relative, and you can’t be a part of a hiring committee if your relative is being interviewed for a position.
If you become related to a manager after you both are employed by our company, we may transfer one of you.
